Short Biography
Hao Zhang was born in 1976 in harbin, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2004 from Jilin University. In July 2004, he started a postdoc academic career at Department of Interfaces, Max-Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany. From October 2004 to June 2006, he was an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow. Since 2007, he is a professor in College of Chemistry, Jilin University.
Research Interest
The research interests relate to nanocrystal synthesis via green chemistry route, controlled self-assembly of nanocrystals in ordered manner, fabrication of nanocrystal/polymer composites, and the photoelectric, photovoltaic, and photothermal applications of nanocomposites.
Honors & Awards
00 Best Ph.D. Thesis in China (2006); New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education of China (2008);
National Natural Science Award (the second level, 2010).
