Short Biography
Prof. Junqi Sun was born in Shandong Province, China in 1975. He received his PhD in polymer science in 2001 from Jilin University, under the supervision of Prof. Jiacong Shen and Prof. Xi Zhang. He conducted postdoctoral research at RIKEN, Japan, from January 2002 to August 2003. In September 2003, he joined the faculty of Jilin University as a professor.
Research Interest
The research of Dr. Sun focuses mainly on the fabrication of reversibly crosslinked polymers, includes the following: (1) Self-healing/healable polymers (2) Self-healing coatings; (3) Closed loop recyclable plastics; (4) Degradable polymers.
