Short Biography
Dr. Wenlong Song received his B.Sc. degree in applied chemistry in 2002 from Jilin University of China, and Ph.D. degree (2007) with Prof. Lei Jiang under a joint course of College of Chemistry, Jilin University and the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS). He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow in 3B’s group-Biomaterials, Biodegradables and Biomimetics in Minho University of Portugal. In 2011, he joined the State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Jilin University as an associate professor.
Research Interest
His scientific interests are focused on:
1 Investigating the interaction between bioinspired surface/interface and cells;
2 Constructing biochips basing on special wettable surfaces;
3 Preparing smart surfaces by different kinds of responsive polymers.
