Abstract：RAFT is a living free radical polymerization technique for preparation of various functional polymers with well-defined structures and pre-determined molecular weights. CSIRO became the home of RAFT technology when it was invented almost two decades ago by a group of CSIRO researchers. Since then, it has been widely explored by researchers from all of the world to make different polymers for different applications.
