Lanfeng Lan received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Jilin University in 2019 and his Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry from Jilin University in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Hongyu Zhang. In July 2024, he was selected for the Dingxin Scholar Support Program of Jilin University and conducted postdoctoral research at the State Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics, Jilin University. In July 2026, he joined the College of Chemistry, Jilin University and the State Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials as a Tenure-track Associate Professor. His research focuses on dynamic molecular crystalline materials and organic optoelectronic functional materials. He has published 29 SCI-indexed papers with more than 1,500 citations. Among these publications, 14 papers were published as first author or co-first author, including papers in Journal of the American Chemical Society (2), Angewandte Chemie International Edition (4), Nature Communications (2), CCS Chemistry (1), and Advanced Materials (1).
