Short Biography
Dr. Zhao Bing received his bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Jilin University in 1984, 1987 and 1992 respectively. He conducted postdoctoral research at the City University of New York in the United States. In 1987, he stayed at Jilin University to teach, and has been a professor since 1998. He mainly engages in the research of supramolecular spectroscopy. In the past five years, he has published more than 100 academic papers in journals such as Nat. Rev. Methods Primers and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and has been authorized 15 invention patents. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director of the Molecular Spectroscopy Committee of the Chinese Optical Society, and is also an editorial board member of journals such as Appl. Spectrosc., Spectroscopy and Spectral Analysis, and Journal of Light Scattering.
Research Interest
Basic and applied research on vibrational spectroscopy and electronic spectroscopy. Research on the preparation of novel SERS substrates, as well as the application of SERS technology in life sciences, materials science and analytical science.

1. In 2004, selected into the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" of the Ministry of Education1.
2. In 2008, the First Prize of Jilin Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (the first completer).
3. In 2016, the First Prize of China Federation of Commerce Science and Technology Award (the first completer).
4. In 2019, the First Prize of China Association for Analytical Instrumentation Science and Technology Award (the third completer).
5. In 2020, the First Prize of China Instrument and Control Society Science and Technology Award (the third completer).
6. In 2020, he was selected as a Yingcai Professor of the "Tang Aoqing Scholars" program at Jilin University.
