Biotechnology & Biomaterials

We are seeking new compounds capable of monitoring, blocking, or interfering amyloid protein assembly. We are interested in probing and modulating cellular function by using these compounds. We also construct synthetic artificial viruses for macromolecule delivery with a special focus on gene editing related studies. The long term goal is to develop new methods for exploring cellular pathways related to amyloidosis and metabolism.
