Short Biography
Prof. Yang, born in 1971 in Rudong, Jiangsu, got a doctor’s degree from Jilin University in 2002, later on be a teacher in college of chemistry, Jilin University. From 2002 to 2004 , he engaged in postdoctoral research in State Key Lab of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, Jilin University. Then he got associate professor and professor respectively in 2004 and 2008. Since 2011, he has been authorized for a doctoral supervisor, and he has been in the Georgia Institute of Technology as a visiting scholar for 15 months. Till now he works in the State Key Lab of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, and also acts as the dean of the department of chemical engineering and applied chemistry, college of chemistry, Jilin University.
Research Interest
(1) High-performance organic/polymer electroluminescent material: structural design, synthesis and luminescent properties.
(2) High-efficiency photoelectric and electrooptical conversion materials based on the supramolecular concept.
(3) Theoretical modeling on photoelectric and electrooptical conversion process and mechanism in organic semiconductor materials.
