Short Biography
Dr. Xiang was born in 1983 at Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province. He received his bachelor’s degree (2004) and Ph.D. degree (2008) from Jilin University. and then became a Lecturer in Jilin University. He was a visiting scholar in Scripps Research (USA) from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, he is a professor in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jilin University.
Research Interest
1. Organic electrosynthesis, especially in developing highly selective C–C and C–heteroatom bond formation in medicinal chemistry.
2. Organic synthetic methodology, especially in developing efficient synthetic methods for novel privileged heterocyclic scaffolds.
3. Drug discovery and chemical biology, especially in the finding of highly selective protein kinases inhibitors.
