Dr. Liu Yu, Professor, graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Jilin University with a bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry in 1998, and obtained a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Jilin University in 2004. In October 2004, he joined the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research in Japan as a special researcher for foreigners at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Academic Studies (JSPS) for postdoctoral research. In December 2006, he returned to the supramolecular laboratory of Jilin University as an academic backbone and was hired as a professor and doctoral supervisor in October 2011. The main research area is the design, synthesis, and preparation of high-performance blue and white light materials, new phosphorescent materials, and corresponding OLEDs. He has published more than 30 SCI papers with an impact factor greater than 6.0 in this research field, and multiple papers have been reviewed by Chem Top SCI journals such as Soc. Rev. provide positive citations, evaluations, or key introductions.
