Abstract

RAFT is a living free radical polymerization technique for preparation of various functional polymers with well-defined structures and pre-determined molecular weights. CSIRO became the home of RAFT technology when it was invented almost two decades ago by a group of CSIRO researchers. Since then, it has been widely explored by researchers from all of the world to make different polymers for different applications.

报告人简历：

郝晓娟, 2001年获澳大利亚新英格兰大学高分子化学博士，现任澳大利亚联邦科工研究组织高级研究科学家和团队领导者。她先后在墨尔本大学和新南威尔士大学完成两个博士后任职后于2006年加入联邦科工研究组织。她在生物材料领域与中国同事有着长期合作。她的研究领域包括应用活性自由基聚合技术（RAFT）制备各种高分子结构，纳米金粒子和量子点，生物材料和医疗器件, 碳素材料（碳纳米管，氧化石墨烯和富勒烯），以及医用显影剂等。
